Resurgence of the QCD Adler function

چکیده
We study the QCD Adler function in energy region $\approx 0.7-2.5$ GeV, which non-perturbative effects become dominant. Our analysis is a renormalon-based evaluation using transseries within resurgence of Renormalization-Group-Equation and does not require Operator-Product-Expansion.

Adler Function in the Analytic Approach to QCD
The low energy behavior of the Adler function D(Q) is studied by employing recently derived integral representation for the latter. This representation embodies the nonperturbative constraints on D(Q), in particular, it retains the effects due to the nonvanishing pion mass. The Adler function is calculated within the developed approach by making use of its perturbative approximation as the only...
متن کاملLarge-order Behaviour of the QCD Adler D-function in Planar Approximation
We consider the structure of the leading ultra-violet (UV) renormalon singularity associated with the QCD vacuum polarization Adler D-function, in the approximation that only planar Feynman diagrams are retained. This “planar approximation” results in some simplifications, in particular three of the four potential contributions from four-fermion operators are shown to be absent. We are able to ...
متن کاملAdler Function from R E + E (s) Measurements: Experiments Vs Qcd Theory 1
An experimentally motivated QCD analysis of the behaviour of the Adler D-function in the Euclidian region is described. It is stressed that by taking account of b-quark mass-dependent s-e ects one obtains better agreement between theoretical predictions and experimentally motivated behaviour of the D-function at large Euclidian momentum transfer. A more detailed analysis of QCD predictions, inc...
متن کاملStrong decays and Adler selfconsistency condition in two - dimensional QCD
Strong mesonic decays are studied in the framework of the 't Hooft model for the two-dimensional QCD in the axial gauge. Special attention is payed to the processes with pions in the final state involved and the low energy theorems have been checked including the " Adler zero ". It is demonstrated explicitly that in the chiral limit any three-meson decay amplitude with at least one pion vertex ...
متن کاملOn the low–energy behavior of the Adler function
The Adler function [1] plays a key role in particle physics. Specifically, theoretical description of some strong interaction processes (e.g., electron– positron annihilation into hadrons [2] and inclusive τ lepton decay [3,4]) is inherently based on this function. Besides, Adler function is essential for confronting the precise experimental measurements of some electroweak observables (e.g., m...
